Contemporary Kitchen , A Kitchen with Two Islands by Sharon Sherman

When deciding to build a new two-story house on a foundation of existing farms and to the contemporary kitchen's something for everyone. For a vegetarian, necessary preparation area on the island that can be used exclusively for fresh produce. However, the only logical place for the refrigerator was directly across the island.

Kitchen neat design that belies the fact that it houses a full stove and refrigerator, rubbish disposal, microwave, second oven, a refrigerator under the cabinet and integrated dishwashers It makes lots of double island right solution to solve the issue of traffic patterns. The 52-inch "preparation island" has a bar sink and mini fridge under, the 72-inch "noshing island" is designed to accommodate the pull-up stools for casual dining and has a generous storage underneath.

Classically, the rear seats are made of aluminum 80-percent-recycled enhance the contemporary feel. Antique-brown granite kitchen countertops around the perimeter, while the American white granite countertops give the island a tiny punch.

Separate islands also help visually expand the kitchen, in fact, is the space, long and narrow. They also make efficient way from a sink full size refrigerator built-in, with pull-out pantries on either side.

Playful images

I love to play with colors and photography. A new iPhone app has me mildly addicted to have fun with both at the same time. Instagram is easy to use and there a couple of options to manipulate your images. If you feel inclined, you can also share your instant photo art with various social networks, or you can keep them all to yourself! However you choose, do have fun!

Happy meeting

Today I've had the lucky chance to meet with Anna Spiro of Absolutely Beautiful Things, who has had, many years ago, more then a tiny influence in my decision to become a blogger myself.
I had found her blog and was smitten from the first time I laid my eyes on it! Over the years we have exchanged comments and the occasional e-mail, but to meet her was a wonderful treat! 
The fun was shared by my good friend Patricia of PVE Design. Which is to say, she had invited me to join her! Which I gladly did and fun we had. 
We talked about all things beautiful... live, shopping and places to go, which Anna and her family might enjoy at this visit in New York! 
And just like all girls anywhere over tea we chatted! Immediately I felt comfortable and not for a moment awkward to talk to someone I had actually never met before.
Thank you for sharing your precious time here and the chance of  getting to know you and your lovely mom a little bit!
I wish you a happy stay and many returns! It was lovely to meet you!

A walk in the woods

An unusual warm "winter" afternoon made me forget all duty and beckoned me out into the woods. The dog was as happy as I and we frolicked for an hour in sunshine and under trees, seemingly ready to pop! Which is, of course wishful thinking, since February has just began.
Unlike my husband, I am all for spring....

Ready for home?

We have these woods close to our neighborhood, a mere 5 minutes by car! We are so lucky, it's the closest we get to nature in a short time. 
Do you get a chance to go out there once in a while?
It is so invigorating and I always realize when I am there, how sun and wind, earth and sky make me deeply happy!
When I am in need for thinking or a little time away from it all, this gets me back to myself!
